The School Day
Pupils at Kingswode Hoe are encouraged to be as independent as possible by learning the days of the week, the use of a timetable and both the analogue and digital clock.

The School Day
The school day begins at 8.50am. All pupils are expected to arrive on the premises between 8.40am and 8.50am. Morning break is from 10.40am – 11.00am. Lunch break is from 12.20pm – 1.10pm. There is a break from 2.15pm – 2.30pm for pupils in KS1 & 2 only.

The afternoon session ends at 3.15pm and pupils are dismissed at the school gate. Some pupils receive free transport to and from the school, this is subject to fulfilling strict criteria laid down by the local authority (please check current eligibility distances). Pupils in Year 11 are encouraged to travel independently, using a bus pass.

Assemblies & Treat Time

On Monday there is a whole school assembly between 09.10-09.20 and on Friday we hold a celebration assembly at 14.40.
